is quite impressive, as it is on the Makro Racer series models. I mainly Relic Hunt and deal with ample trash wherever I search and the unmasking abilities of all the models in my personal arsenal simply is not beat by any of the competitors units, and I have owned and used most of them.

I agree, nothing from the competition offers the features and performance of these models from the Nokta/Makro team. I used to use some of those that were at the 'leading edge' ... at the time ... and they work okay, but they don't work like what I am using now. It's great to have a detector battery that excels when it comes to depth, performance and unmasking abilities that call for recovery speed.

I don't see the Nokta/Makro group dropping the ball at all because they monitor consumers comments and work to R&D some of the finest performing detectors we could want.

I always think it is a good idea to keep any good-working detector on-hand, but I sold off the bulk of my arsenal of competitor's models. Matter of fact I still have been thinning some of my favorites of the past because I have been using the CoRe. Relic, Racer 2, Gold + and Gold Racer much more, and by the end of this month I will only have one or two all-time favorite Tesoro models in my arsenal other than Makro and Nokta ... mainly for nostalgic sake.
