recovery speed on the ext. 705 vrs. the atpro

I've owned and used both but I currently have the 705. If recovery speed is your only concern the AT Pro wins hands down. You can literally whip the AT Pro back and forth and it will keep up most of the time.

Fast doesn't all ways equal better either ... I'd rather go slow and see everything than go fast and miss some stuff

Slow but steady wins the race.

Agreed, that's one of the reasons I have the 705 now and sold the AT Pro.

recovery speed is how fast the detector recovers between two targets, swinging at the same rate of speed . i have a atp. an am thanking about a exterra 705. [ keep ing the pro.] i know that there many thangs concerning a detector, thats important to consider. i have an extra tiger shark laying around, an may do some tradeing with someone.anyway first time on the exterra fourm, thanks for the comments.

I think they are close, but I believe the 705 has the pro beat on the recovery speed. I will test and record a video for you when I get a chance, beings I have both.:minelab::garrett:

just remember slow and low will bring you the dough :minelab:

I know this is not a Norfolk Wolf recovery test, but this video should give you a some idea of how each machine performs. Take from it what you will.
If you have some other small test you would like me to demonstrate, I will do my best to accommodate you. http://youtu.be/9Rq5YSyeS8c
:stars:I made the mistake of saying ,"they are very similar machines really", but they are far from that. What I meant was, the tests show similar results.
