well, i have been laid off!!! after almost 20 years with the same company i will soon be looking for a new job. for about 5 years now the company i worked for has been losing money and after escaping 3 or 4 previous workforce reductions i was one of 6000 permanent employees to get hit this time. also another 4000 temporary workers. on one hand i hate to leave after 20 years but i have been bored to death at work for a long time due to a lack of product to work on. i do get a very nice severance package that will make things easier. please pray for all that were let go and that they and i will find an even better career. and that my house that has been for sale for a long time will finally be sold.!

Sure will be praying for you and the others, who've lost their jobs! With God taking His blessings off our nation, the world has turned topsy, turvy, but that is what He does when too many turn away from Him and serve satan instead! Will pray about your house to be sold soon, as also pray for me to be able to get mine ready to sell and sold! With Cliff and my health issues and older, it has been difficult since last fall to get everything done, for preparation in moving!

My prayer: Dear Lord, You know Seeker 41's needs of a job and to be able to seel his house, quickly, so I ask You, please, to move upon these situations and open a new door where he will find favor for the job he truly needs that will be interesting and serve his usefulness of working much more than in the past and many others, too, including my son-in-law, Troy, by drawing each one closer to You and opening doors for them where others have been closed! May they draw nearer to You and trust by faith that You are working in their and their families' lives with provision and protection, for the good to them who love you and that are the called according to Your purpose! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for answering prayers for them and also us on this forum and all who need your guiding and assuring love! :angel: God Bless! Betty

glad you got a severence package, I got nothing and am still looking, got laid off nov 12th,08
Hope your able to find something, it is getting bad in Ohio, real bad
