Register new Simplex

No point in it at all. Registering won't extend your warranty, so for as long as you have your original order number, you're all set.

I own a few Nokta detectors, and at first I was registering the new ones… then realized that it has zero benefits. They never even bother notifying registered users by email when there's a new firmware available, so again, what's the point?

Exactly I found out the same thing. They have a warranty registration page but it's a waste of time. As long as you keep your proof of purchase your warranty is good. It's always a good idea to set up an account with username and password from whoever you buy it from as they keep an order history you can refer back to and print if needed
