Relic Hunting WV

Heading to WV next month.Have friends close to Philippi,WV and would love to bring home a relic or two.Anyone on this forum ever detected around Phillipi? I have a friend who has several old homesites deep in the mountains that he is taking me to but would really like to dig a CW bullet.

Wish Icould help you out but I have only hunted Virgina and a little in Georgia now! I remeber finding my first 50 bullets and still like finding them today. Where there is bullets there is other good relics!

Thanks, been up there three times now and have dug a couple nice coins and a militia plate about three years ago.Lots of CW activity around Phillipi but just can't find any good places to detect.
