relic hunting

i've had my explorerxl since they first came out and detected about 4 years with it then got too involed with work and now im just getting back into detecting again. i seem to be very interested in like civial war relic hunting and was wondering if i should use my explorer or another type of minelab detector. what would you guys think?

The Explorer is the best relic hunting detector period. Get yourself a Stealth X-8 coil for iron infested/trashy ground and an X-12 or WOT for the real clean ground and you can be assured that if there is a signal to be heard you will hear it!
