RELICS FROM 4-11-10 HUNT NEAR REAMS STATION

Went to my uncles farm near Ream Station Sunday for about 2 hours. Hunted a corner of the field that I hadn't hunt much before. Found a spot near where the Petersburg & Weldon Railroad was. Dug 4 Henry casings, 3 - 3 ringers, 1 Spencer, 7 Sharps and 8 pistol bullets. The bullet on the bottom left must have hit backwards, it looks like a sombrero. Also a small brass buckle and a piece of sabot. These finds were a suprise because I thought I had hunted this farm pretty hard. Thanks for looking and keep a digging. Frank

Nice bunch of bullets you have there. I just went on my first relic hunt a few weeks ago and I am hooked.

Great job! got to love the spots you think you or anyone have hunter out... I live in GA now and I sure miss VA on the weekends! No one seems to want to hunt down this way... Keep flippin plugs and postin pics... Makes me feel like being home again!
