Got out today with the X70, got some lead and a Eagle Button in bad shape. Every year the buttons just seem to get worse, shame. The Merrill Carbine bullet on the far right was carved on, maybe a chess piece?. Anyways, always good to get out and save some relics!!!

Very nice, I would still get very excited about that.! Are you using your 10.5" MF or 15" WOT MF for those finds.?

I was using the 10.5 18,75 coil today...............MO

Love those bullets!!!! Fertilizer makes things like copper and brass errode very badly. At least it is an eagle button and you got her!!!!

They use to "Lime" the fields around here back in the 60's when I was younger. Hard digging where I got these, like digging in creek rock with sod just covering it. You have to remove a rock at a time to get to the target. Most of them were at 6-8 inches. Hard to believe that they plowed it back in the day.

Couple of nice cleaners in that bunch.
No CW finds here. You folks are lucky!

Great recoveries morelic55. Oh, if only those pieces of lead could talk! What a story they could tell! Thanks for sharing the pic. HH Randy

Glad to see you posting again. Nice bunch of lead.

I think that what you're calling cleaners are ring-tailed Sharps. They resemble Williams Cleaners, but they are not.

You are of course correct.
Thanks for the info.
