stamps were 3 cents and now they are thinking of cutting out the saturday mail.whats next?does anyone remember this stamp?

they are considering cutting out Sat mail delivery. I clearly remember the 2 cent Lincoln post card with stamp. I think it was red in color. Heck -I remember when no one had televisions.steve in so az

Yep! I certainly do remember when??? We would put mail in the country mail box with the pennies to mail the letter(s) and never had to worry about buying stamps, as postman would stamp it when he got back to the post office! They are also talking about raising the cost of stamps and eliminating the Sat mail delivery! It already costs a fortune to mail large Envelopes and pkgs! Sometimes more than what is inside of the mailer! Wow, the Gov't sure does good when handling business doesn't it? Not!!! Too much greed and not enough honesty and a good day's work! :sad: May God Bless! Amen!
