Remembering My Sins

Well, it is human to feel hurt of someone ill and dying, when it is our own child or those we love and are close to us....We just have to lean upon and take rest and peace in the Lord that all will work out and not lean to our own understanding! My sister-in-law, Wanda, knew a woman who prayed for her husband to be saved for over 20 years....he was saved but soon left this world in mortal death.....his wife was soooo hurt that he couldn't be with her longer after being saved in Christ Jesus...she most likely was loving the new life he was giving her by his changed heart! But even though she didn't have him on earth any more, she can rest in the fact and in faith that she will see him again, some-glad-day, and did not have to grieve in his being not saved for eternal life!

The widow had her son and, if she lost him through death, then she would really be alone...but God in His mercy didn't allow them to starve to death and she can rest and have peace in the fact God worked miracles for them in providing for them....and another miracle was performed by Elijah to show the widow how much God does love her and how true to Him Elijah really is! Sometimes we are so much in the darkness that it takes more and more of God's light of love to shine within and show us more of Who He is, until we have not doubt at all in that Jehovah is God and the Lord of All and loves us each with an everlasting love!
