there is no interest in it. Seems Minelab has come out with a newer unit which knocks the value down of all the previous detectors Minelab made. The SE and Xterras lowered the resale value of the Explorer II detectors. And now, in an ironic way, Minelab's new e-Trac detector has dropped the value of my Explorer II even lower...to a point I can't afford to give it away. So am keeping it.
I mention ironic because the new detector incorporates some design ideas I had suggested over a year ago but seemed Minelab was not going to make another detector using those ideas. So now the new machine - one that I had provided input into the development of - has now made it so I can't sell my Explorer. Ironic, eh.
So on the plus side, I get to keep an excellent detector and keep detecting after all...when my back isn't killing me. On the side of 'my ways' of trying to get bills paid off and get ahead or at least try to break even...now the water heater is about to lose the bottom out of it - sheesh - never ends, well my ways aren't working. This is God's reminder to me:
Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
He knows what I need before I even know I have need and He meets all my needs...in His way.
OK Father, I get it. Forgive me for trying to do things my way and hindering You in doing things your way. Lord, you are in control, not me. Thank you for meeting my needs the way you desire to have them met. In Jesus name, thank you and glory to your name. Amen.
(Still selling the water detector though since I am not using it).
