Replacing Excalibur 800 twist locks

Does anybody had to substitute the twist locks on a stock shaft for the Excalibur?
Mine is gone, bought some from plugger, and I don't know if anybody could tell me how to do it.

Thanks a lot

Use a hacksaw and cut the tube off right behind the existing camlock. Clean up the edges of the cut with some sandpaper and install the new one. You can carefully remove the old one with a razor blade or a thin chisel, but it's a pain.

Yea, buy a new plugger shaft.

The hacksaw advice is the best. When you remove the cam lock, there will be a hole where the cam lock was. That needs to go. So just hack saw off that about 1 inch of the tube and then you will be set to go.

The Plugger locks are the best I've seen. Every detector I have has one on it. Best lock for the money bar none. Highly recommended. Bill is a great guy to deal with.
