I let a guy try my SE out as he has a EX II I sold him and wonder if the SE was better than his EX II. He has been doing some actual signal comparison with the SE verses the EX II and says what the SE sees his EX II does too, but not as loud of a signal on the EX II. He also says he sees the faster responds with the SE over his EX II.
He used it last Saturday at a site he spend all morning looking for, so he only had a half day to detect, but did well. Got a walking lib half in the same hole was a dateless Standing lib quarter, 4 silver quarters, 1 barber dime,4 merc and 3 silver Rosie's, one Canadian silver dime, a IH penny, a buffalo nickle and only 8 Wheaties.I would say he had a great day and he will be going back on this Thursday to see what else he can find, I wish he would take me with him on this one as I would love to have a day such as this.
I ask him if he notice any falsing as some are saying they are getting this, he says it just seems to be a little more than his XS II, but feels it is because of the sensitivity the SE has.
One thing I notice and he does too is that we can run the sensitivity a little higher with the SE over the EX II or the XS as I could normally run 22-24 max in manual with the XS or the EX II while the SE I can run 24-28 it seems like.
I am real curious what Todd (Elevatorman)finds wrong with his SE as it was one of the first ones I sold and the only one that seems to have a problem.
