Reposting the pic of my last three hunts!

Jack(IN)

New member
Two in the wheatie "field" and one from an old Park!
Braved the heat for three hunts, the first and third hunt had me hitting the wheatie field, hot and NO shade, finds were great with maybe eight dollars in clad, 25 wheats(1909-1955), the Merc (41), the three silver roosies(46-D, 51, 63-D) and the middle hunt was at an old Park I hit on occassion with less than a dollar in clad the 37 Buffalo, six Indians(79, 81, 86, 90, 06, ND), a piece of gold from a medallion, a silver ring with stone missing, and the best shield nickel(186:geek: I've ever dug. The shield hasn't been cleaned and the pic does not do it justice, but its a sweet one!

Those are remarkable finds. It is hard to find Shield Nickels and anything pre-1880 for Indian Heads in North Dakota. Great Finds and hope your luck continues.

Nice finds again Jack and it's neat that most all will repost their finds. I myself still like going back and looking at old pic's. to get my daily fix before going out. WTG and Congrats on the nice finds you always get.

Sweet finds, not bad and atleast your rewarded for going out, woth the heat...HH
