I have a friend, Brenda Thurman, who stands in need of prayer. She had been having some numbness in her leg and arm and went to the doctor thinking it was probably some kind of nerve problem. They did some tests and found that she has several lesions (cancer) on her brain and on her lungs. They are going to do radiation on her head and chemo for her lungs. The doctors say she is stage 4 and are giving her about a year. Brenda and I have worked together (she's a teacher also) and have been friends for many years. She is only 54 years old. She is hardcore Catholic but doesn't really want to discuss spiritual matters. The only thing she will say is, "I am at peace with my life." She has three grown children, the youngest just started law school at the University of Alabama and she is really down over the fact that she doesn't believe she will see him graduate in 3 years. Please lift her and her kids up to the Lord.

so sad ,will pray for brenda and her kids.the sad thing lisa,is SHE SAVED?does she understand savaltion?death could be at her door ?by all means see if she can answer this.if she will not respond then its out of your hands and she will have to answer for herself.all we can do is try and pray that might see the answer.thaks for caring.

Prayers going up for your friend, Brenda and her family! I pray if she isn't saved for sure that God will reach her through a faithful servant sent to witness to her and assure her of His salvation grace! May He be merciful to her during the treatments for cancer.....it is soooo sad that sooooo many at her young age in life are finding themselves burdened with this disease of cancer! I had a third cousin die from brain cancer, she lived for about 5 years after surgery but went through rough times! May God have mercy on her soul and mortal body to not be suffering so much before her time on Earth is over in Jesus' name I pray! Amen! Ma Betty
