I like long audio, on my XS is it called audio 1. I use it full time and I hunt in trashy areas a lot. It takes some more time to get used to. My advice is to turn down the headphone volume so that the louder signals won't overwhelm your hearing. Even in my manual it states that audio 1 is made for trashy areas.
I like it because I can hear the distinction of iron trash better than normal audio. Most use normal so if you choose it, you will be in good company.

I use conduct sounds also with a low setting on iron mask, like -15, you could start out with a higher iron mask setting and work your way down. -14 seems to knock out all but the hardest to get rid of iron signals and you still won't be missing much. Start out on a fairly clean site and lower your volume some on your headphones. Long audio is busy but you won't miss signals. Small iron will be broken signals that can be ID'ed as different from high conductive coins. If you are still using ferrous sounds with no iron mask, iron will sounds like a constant drum but it still will work well.
