I have been borrowing a friends etrac last couple months trying it out against my Safari and Fisher he is really into Golf this time a year.I really think the Safari is a better machine response time is quicker maybe not as many toys just my opinion.Tryed my 6X8 on both detectors worked great on both.
 
I started out with an E-Trac but didn't want to deal with all those settings, so traded it for a Safari. There are several E-Trac features that I wish the Safari had, but really like the user interface of the Safari and how easy it is to setup and use different programs.
