beaches were hughly sanded in!! The hurricane that hit the week before did nothing to help hunting conditions..... The Safari ran just perfect!!!! ( didn"t have a doubt ).. It hit alot of deep dimes from 10 inches +++ VDI numbers were off some tho.. copper pennys were 37-38..... quarters 39 Did find a genuine junk ring tho.

Sorry, no pirate gold to show.

Never had a quarter ring in at 39, but have had the same readings as you on pennies. Nice deep machine isn't it?

the explorer always id"d spot on..... the safari was a few #'s off, but I was pretty sure on what to expect tho.... And Yes, it does pull change DEEEP from the sand, just as the old explorer did..
