Returned from the north land...and glad to be where it's warmer.

Temps in Mn were in the low to mid 50's for the most part, but had some nasty 15-30 mph winds to deal with wind chill wise and fishing. My son and I fished much more then I detected, but I did get in 3 couple hour hunts each and the Omega did sniff out some more silver and 2 wheats and 2 buffalo nickels plus a little under $3.00 in clad and some junk jewelry. All finds came from an old fairgrounds. The 62 Rosie was with in an inch of a rusty nail and some of the rust leached onto the dime. The no date buffalo and 29s Merc were in the same hole. The other Merc is a 1919 and then on my last hunt on the old grounds got the 1903 Barber dime and the 52 wheat. HH jim tn

Some nice finds.!

Yes, either go south or stay in the south until the winter is over. I do really hate living in the cold winter north country here, it sucks, can't wait to move somewhere with nice mild temperature winters in the south is where it's at IMO.

Nice finds. Glad to see you made it back safely.
