Returned to the old farm, today

Went back to the old farm . I used the 5.3 coil to go through the trash as I followed close to the rock wall making my way towards the spot I found the coin spill Friday.
I didn't have to dig much today because 99% of the signals where well into the negatives. I made my way back to the coin spill area and just started carefully listening, hoping for any tone in the positive vdi's.

I found Friday's coins near the bottom of this pic, just below the MXT and backpack.

Just to the right of the rock that's directly above the MXT is where I got a nice tone today bouncing from the 40's to the 50's. I dug down about 4" and was very surprised to see a super thin silver coin.

I cleaned it off in some near-by water. It was near smooth, but there was most of a date left that made me 90% sure I had a Half Reale:drinking:

Here it is cleaned up. Definitely a 178? Half Reale

Pretty worn and scratched up, but still think it amazing to find something like this:please:
Here's the reverse.

I took a pic of it with one I found in the past so you could see better how it matches up... and what it would look like if it wasn't sooo worn:)

I spent about 5 hours out there today, and that was my only good find... but, I'll take more days like this:thumbup:

Have a good one

Hello Sir,

Congratulations on a great find!

We just don't see any coins that old. out here in The West.
When I find coins in the 1800s that is about as good as it gets for me.

Respectfully,
