Returning to E-Trac, are the Malaysian built machines same quality?

Hello,
I am back to detecting after a year, and am wanting to return to my previous machine, the E-Trac. I have learned they plant moved to Malaysia, and was wondering if anyone with one from there has noticed any difference in quality. From what I understand, the only thing being done in Malaysia is assembly, and the quality of the parts are the same. Any help would be appreciated.

No problem with mine ......Everything works and the quality is STILL THERE !!.....I've compared it to my partners older E Trac and right on par with his, performance wise and all ....Jim
