I don't care much for the bottle cap and the other extras either.... 3 tone for coins is really nice....:thumbup:
 
or "Intereference" complaints was not the only reason they decided to mess with what was already a real winner. Maybe toning down a bit of power lessens the "interefence" complaints?
Those rusty bottle caps have steel in them, & being round are tough for alot of different ID units. Some Coinstrike users whined loudly about ID'ing those caps as coins, even though the sound was different to a trained ear after several hours. PLus, the C$ is killer at hitting coins other units miss so it's like a trade off....
I think rusty caps get people all upset because they think anything rusty is iron. I don't mind digging a cap or 2 if it's going to get me closer to a nice old coin. But, again I'm lucky becuse I'm usually out in the woods away from RF interefence & caps.....
