RF Noise re: Goldscan 5

Greetings to Eric and Mr Bill,
First of all, congratulations on your tremendous breakthrough with the new Goldscan 5 detector...
Here in the states we have yearly (it seems) increases in all kinds of radio/cell phone/military etc. noises that are picked up by our Minelab SD's/Gp's which makes them almost or totally unusable at various times...
Have you addressed this problem in the development of the Goldscan 5 for use here in the USA? If not, perhaps Mr. Bill, during his testing of the unit would give us a report concerning the above matter...
Very Best Regards,
Sabra Jim French

Hi Jim,
Having spent about half of all my development time on industrial metal detectors, where immunity from electromagnetic interference is a must, my hobby detectors also benefit from my experience in this area.
No detector is completely immune to outside interference, but I can say that I get very few reports of problems in the field. I have had it reliably reported, that PI detectors of my manufacture work happily at the same time as others are having fits.
Eric.

Eric,
Thanks for the speedy reply... It was very important to me...
Once you are ready to begin distribution, there will certainly be one of the units thrashing the N. Nevada gold fields... <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
