I have a Digisearch meter from my GT that I am selling. I was asked by someone will it work on other Sovereigns like an XS2. I was told it would not, but when I tried it on my own XS2 it does indeed work. Can you shed a bit of light on this.

Much appreciated,

Bob

Hey Bob did you try it using the Tornado Coil or an older AT style coil. I think the meter will work on an older Sov if it's using the Tornado Coil but may not work when using the older coils. Do you have an older AT or Coinsearch Coil that you can try? JMHO

I never tired one myself, but was told that on the older Sovereigns the meter will read 000. Now you have tried it and it works, so apparently they do work and the info I had got must not be correct.
It will be interesting if anyone else has tried this and see if it will work.
