Ring #18 @925 Day #110

Day #110 started slow, knees just didn't want to be attached to my body. I think they wanted to be home in bed? But after a few digs they started to get "in the mood" and I was swinging. I thought I could hear Glenn Miller music? I almost quiet digging to do some jiving. Then the coins started popping. Also found a smart phone and on my break I tried to see if I could call the owner. Four kids came and asked if I had found a cell phone. I showed it to them and they were excited that I had found it. A big thanks from the owner. Also dug a cub scout neckerchief slide, master councilor pin, aluminium chain and kids button.

Your finds are getting better and better as the summer progresses...WTG, sounds like you had an awesome day to the big band sounds! Theres an idea for Fisher, horns, drums, etc instead of beeps and grunts! Well done!

Mud I don't know if I am getting better? I do know the hunts are a lot more fun. I used the standard coil for the first time in a long time. I use the 6" coil most of the time. I did a lot more walking this hunt and covered more ground than I have in sometime in a hunt.
Stryker I hope work has settled down some so you can get some detecting time in?
I have found 2 new places (for me) and now checking for people movement and what has been going on there with some of the locals. No since in detecting in the wrong place and looking for the right place. The world is too big to hit and miss. Sometimes a little hint can make the difference. Like 1018 coins from one park so far. Just because of a I think, hint came from a local. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I love older people and their information.
