Found on outside edge of bb court. Hits hard on 20-22 if I remember right. No jewelers mark. Wife's .975 silver rings hit at 40-44. You tell me?

Could be gold. Have it tested at a jewler's.
Peticularly old gold rings, if worn constantly, could easliy have any original mark that it had worn off. I've seen old wedding bands worn out, because gold is so soft.
You could also weigh it, if you have sensitive enough scales. Compare it's weight to an equivalent size silver ring. Gold weighs 11oz/cu. in., and silver is 6.25oz/cu.in.. Platinum weighs about the same as gold.

If it was gold I would figure it would hit under 12 being it's so small. More like 2 to 8. I think it's probably plated? Sure is a nice one!!!!

Hi,
Nice work
Hard to tell by that pic but - If not silver, my guess is 14 to 18 carat white gold.

What does it weigh ?
IMHO mass also is a factor in a Xterra's TID

Not all jewelry is stamped. And any body can buy a stamp (punch). I never stamped any of my custom jewelry. Somewhere I have two brass rings stamped 14k.
Test it.
