Hi I was at a local park today and found a nice ring. On the inside it says 18ct PLAT the ring is nice rich gold color and a white metal holding three stones. Does the writting mean 18K gold with platium setting holding the stones?? Why would it say 18ct instead of 18kt??HH George

My guess...seeing it is ct, instead of kt... That it came from Italy or another country...outside U.S.
