Road trip finds...

Went north to visit my daughters and grandson Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday was the day to metal detect and I got into a little sidewalk construction in town and pulled a crusty indian, 1901 V nickel and a few wheats. Then I tried a field that used to be a logging camp and got a few whatzits plus the monogram pin. Tuesday I tried a park I've never hunted before. After about 4 hours I finally dug a merc. (1940) plus a few more wheats. Glad to be home.

New spots are tough because you are going in cold. It takes time to evaluate where the targets might be. Going home is a always a good feeling
