rock that have gold

Active member
Quite possible. Lots of iron oxidation on that piece. One sure way to find out. Crush the stone and pan it out. FYO. Free milling gold is visible gold which can be seen with a naked eye (so to speak). Micron gold which may also exist in the stone, is very fine\small and can be seen with a microscope.

This is interesting gold in the rock.
What kind of detector is able to detect gold in rock 50 feet down.
Is there such detector in market.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
