Rookie user of White's Spectrum XLT - help

Good morning. I need help. My detector suddenly seems hyper-sensitive. Even with the loop in the air sometimes, it beeps quite a bit. It seemed to start that overnight. Do loops go bad overnight? Is there a quick adjustment or maybe a setting that has defaulted that I do not know of? Keep in mind I am a rookie user too. Thank you.

Check these settings to see if any have changed by accident. Pre-Amp Gain, Mixed Mode and Audio Disc Off. These last 2 affect Pre-Amp Gain. Too much Pre-Amp Gain causes Overload.
Good advice, Dave. That reminds me to check that the trigger is in center position when switching on.
