Rope of rings and yesterday's digs

Here's my rope of rings from the last 30 years. All junk rings, the longest string is 51 inches. I had a contest some years back to guess the number and I think it was just short of 700. Must be close to 1,000 by now as I added a second rope.

And a close up of it. I think one day I will give it to a kids ranch near here.

Yesterday I detected out of town and dug a bunch of coins, some junk jewelry and these 2 one dollar coins. On the mexican coin the $ sign means peso. One peso is a dime / 10 is a dollar.

Don't keep track of them to say. I do know that lately it's been poor findings on them. The country's economy I guess. Steve
