Rough day today................

Was he sick a long time?

What happened ?( only if you want to talk about it)

Snooopy is one handsome guy! I'm sure that you gave him the best home and life any dog could ask his master for.

Hank and I offer our sincere condolences.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Safe passage to Snoopy......

So sorry buddy, I know how your feel, and words just can't express it. We have four dogs we keep outside on the farm (except for really cold nights) and two others that live in the house with my wife and I. WE LOVE OUR DOGS! Since our children have grown up and left home, our pets have become kinda like our new family, not replacements, but cherished additions. I can't say what happens to our pets when they pass on, but I know they have emotions and seem to enjoy life as much as you and I, and I firmly believe the God waste's, nothing, so who's to say who will greet us when our turn comes.

Here she is on the left, her brother by a different litter is on the right.

I am so glad we commissioned Leanna Cross to sculpt our two beloved pets. Like Snoopy they will always be special.

My dogs are a part o' my family.
It still hurts to have lost them :sadwalk:

Sorry for your loss.
Sixteen years is a long time. Our dog is 13 years and I know it will be hard when the day comes.
Like losing a family member. Lots of memories made in 16 years.

Take care.
