Hi Guys,
Here is my herty gerty for swinging the coil with no weight to carry around. Set it to the height you want off the ground and away you go.
The rod spins over my head as you sweep.
Regards Pinpointa.

Clever work Pinpointa! :thumbup:

It might be the start of a detecting boom !

Hi Jeff & Maria,
Well when i am on the beach here in Australia i am always amongst the birds.They always put me into a spin when their over my head. Three birds at once not bad for an old codger specially when there on top of you and i manage to keep it up there. But when more birds come i really go into a spin. So when you go on to the beach to do some beeping if you see pairs of legs on the sand you'll know that i have been there. And you might see some with one leg i will be back to get those ones next time around. And when there got no legs they are not a worry unless they drop a few shits but you just keep spinning faster and that picks the shit up and puts it on someone else.:rofl:
Regards Pinpointa

I still think your idea is a great one mate;

~ legless seaguls eh!

I can just see 'em gettin' along the sand...

Good on you Snowy,
Well you can always see where i have been on the beach you just keep finding pairs of legs, everwhere as the herty gerty spins around and cuts them off. Some times you would have noticed they tuck one leg up and they look like they have only got one leg. But when they get along with no legs they get very thick skinned like our wrabbits.
Regards Pinpointa, from down under. :rofl:

I can just see ya snippin' away.... [attachment 41367 Harhar.GIF]

HH Pinpointa,

I'll be hittin' the beaches over here pretty soon.
