Royal Highland Regiment - Cap Badge?

Kapok

Active member
I found this item in an old park with my Tesoro Bandido. It looks like a hat badge or something similar. It says "The Royal Highlander" "Black Watch" and "Nemo me impune lacessit" (No one attacks me with impunity). Anyone ever seen anything like this?

It appears similar to this:THE BLACK WATCH (ROYAL HIGHLAND REGIMENT) OF CANADA

Thanks, Taz. You guys are amazing... I wonder how a Canadian cap badge wound up in a park in Illinois.

If I'm correct ( which according to my wife, is not often) the Highland Regiment became part of a
North American alliance, which included the United States. The alliance was formed in the early 1900's...1900-1905 I believe. That could be a solution :)
