Running Out Of Field

My cornfield hunting spot is growing fast and today was probably one of the last hunts. Found two 1884 Canadian large cents, some buttons and a week ago I found this heart shapes piece.

No fertilizer just plain old loamy soil. About 3-4" is all. This field is plowed fall and spring so they don't get time to get down to far.

HI Jeff
Got a new t-2 and have set my coin hunting #s at sen-70 Dis-40 and
3 tone mode . I Guess My Q is-is this a good coin hunting set? Or
what do you other coin hunters use for settings? Thanks Don.

Hi Don I am still using disc at 35(for now) and tone at 2+ and the sens at 85-90. The 35 or lower disc will eliminate a lot of masking and make the 2+ tone jump out at you. I found for clad hunting though the 3 tone ID worked best for my area

I found out that I now find more nickles with the T2. thay fall in the pulltab area on the scale but lock in at 55-57. Have found 9 in
the last two times out hunting. That is 45 pennys I didint have to dig
45 time for. lol HH Don
