I love the E-Trac!! I went to an old fairgrounds near by that I have pounded in the past with my other machines. good thing I did!!!
Found some clad, wheats a couple of mercs a cool small blue glass dice and a Good for a 5 cent package of mints, with a rusty nail stuck to the token. The E-Trac did not even see the nail!!!
I did put the green disks "wheats" they were BAD!! and token in the tumbler, any ideas on how to get the rest of the rust off the token?
HH!!

Thanks for the pictures and the story! Congratulations on the finds! Personally, I'd leave the rust spot...that's cool!

I had a similar experience with a rusty bolt? and a token. I got a good deep signal and pulled what I thought was a piece of iron junk out. I tossed it on the ground to check it again to see why my E-Trac had given me a good sound, and it still sounded good. I took it home and cleaned it up to find someone had used a token as a washer.

As it came out of the ground.
