Hey all, can you please give me a demo on how to crossave from conductive to ferrous. I don't own Andy Sabisch's book because I can find one and I don't think I am going to pay almost 40 bucks to buy. Do you just save the program that you like over to like relic or all metal?

From the Safari Manual: page 32 of the manual


Select the factory preset Detect Mode you
want to alter.
2 Modify the Discrimination Pattern as per
To modify the Discrimination Pattern
on p. 30.
3 Press and hold (approx. 3 seconds), the
appropriate Mode button until the Saved
message is displayed on the screen as
shown below:
4 You can save your personal preset
Mode in any of the four preset locations.
Once a User Mode is saved, simply press
the Mode button to revert to the factory
preset Mode , or press it again to return
to your personal saved Mode.
This allows you to easily toggle between
the two, to compare responses on
various targets.

Klever--Let me give you an example of of one cross saved program I use with my Safari. Turn the detector on----First select the coin search mode---Then press and hold the touch pad of the Relics search mode----Release the relics touch pad when the (saved) message appears.. The "stick figure" will now be next to the Relics mode. Now when you turn the detector on or select the custom-based Relics mode you will have the conductivity based audio signals (from Coins) and you will be rid of the icons that do nothing more than slow down your detector. The discriminate will be the exact same as in the coins mode. However, you can modify that differently by using the accept/reject button and saving it to the new custom relics mode. Hope this helps.
