[size=large]This happened a few years ago but still makes me sad. Leanna had spent weeks sculpting her biggest and most elaborate horse head yet. Embellished with tassels and trim and standing 18" and tall. We had just bought a new electric oven with a timer. Lee was anxious to to heat the piece and get it hardened in the oven so she could start painting it. We set timer on the new oven, placed the horse head in it and went to church for and hour. When we came back this is what we found (next to last photo).The timer never kicked off and the piece got to hot and exploded. Lee was devastated and cried. I really felt bad for her. But she recovered and was determined to make an even better one that she ended up selling. Click to enlarge[/size]
