2 TIMOTHY VIRSES: 3,4,5.

VIR. 3---FOR THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE;BUT AFTER THEIR OWN LUST SHALL HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS ,HAVING ITCHING EARS.
VIR. 4---AND THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH,AND SHALL TURNED UNTO FABLES.
VIR. 5---BUT WATCH THOU IN ALL THINGS,ENDURE AFFLICTIONS,DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST,MAKE FULL PROOF OF THY MINISTRY.:thumbup:

the signs are every where, these verses are speaking of the brethren, and the signs fill the church. most churches are full because of a social gospel that being preached, that feel good, prosperity message that everybody loves to hear. church has become more of a let me go get my blessing, than lets go be a blessing. the prosperity message is the most common message preached, its funny, because we live in a country that is truly prosperous and yet it is not enough. in chap. three before the quoted verses it talks about how man will be in those last days. 3:2-4 people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal. not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god. and again this is talking about the brethern, verse 5 says having a form of godliness, but denying its power. lets not forget that paul is addressing the church in these scriptures, and its important that we watch so that we dont get caught up into it! in the last days the lie is gonna get so good, that allot of people are not going to see it. there is a way that seems right unto man, but in the end it leads to death. proverbs 16:25. it becomes more important in these last days to study to show thyself approved not taking everything you hear as gospel, unless it can be backed up with the word. ok i'll stop this is turning into a sermon.
