Safari at 20

I normally run manual sensitivity between 14 and 17 but this weekend I found myself in a schoolyard (!) running a manual 20 sensitivity (thats max for you nonSafari folks) and my machine ran like it was in Auto. Granted, this was a lower trash portion of the yard, but this school has been around since 1940 so there lots of deeper trash too.

How often (other than a beach) do you all run wide open on Sensitivity?

KinTN..I run in auto sensitivity all the time, in relic mode, as I mostly hunt fields and woods. In three years with the Safari, I can count on one hand the times running in manual sens.

I'm finding relic mode to hit on a lot deeper coins than coin or coin jewelry mode , what do you guys think ????

Totally awesome,The best ground I have found in my area is 17,that is full power like the ground does not exist,were you doing that with Pro Coil?you should have been able to find a dime at 10 plus inches.That would be great test garden soil.
