Safari finally on its way back to me!

Minelab called yesterday evening and told me my Safari needed a new PCB (main circuit board) they replaced it and my Safari will be on its way back to me today from Chicago. The wonderful thing about all of this is I bought this unit used last February not knowing when it was mfg. Thanks to the new warranty that Minelab offers (3yrs. transferable ) not only did this whole process cost me 0 $$$ out of pocket but I also found out that my Safari still has over 1 year of Warranty left on it. That is peace of mind, even with the Holiday and not counting weekends they were right on the money when they said 10 business days for repair turnaround I am very pleased!

Glad to hear that, you will have it in your hands before you know it. So hot and dry here you need a backhoe to dig anything,sure need some rain.

Wolfdog, if I could do a rain-dance for you I would but Im a lousey dancer, it would probably hail instead! Here in N.H. their starting to cut down and turn the fields, weather is cooling down as well. eventually the bugs will be gone and I can hit the wooded areas and hit some cellar holes. By far the best hunting here is to come!

Got it delivered safe and sound Friday as promised. Works great! Found a Rev. War era Eagle Button. A little bent up from the plow. Its small looks to be a cuff button. I'll try to get a decent picture on here tomorrow.
