Went to one of the old biulding sites near my home today.
Besides a bunch of pull tabs and bottle caps, here is what I kept.

The lead ball is a 45 cal.
 
Great stuff Acasto

Found a similar lead ball here in Tasmania earlier this year. Was on the site of an old 1850s army barracks, don't know the calibre but it has a little flat on one side, probably a muzzle loader of some sort

The Safari really hammered out a signal on the lead

thanks, guys. It was actually my first hunt at an "older" site. Been hitting tot lots and the like for several months. It was kinda cool to dig up the older stuff.

Tag seems to be from around the 1930s.
