HI LS HUNTER I GOT MY SAFARI LAST WEDNESDAY. WENT OUT TO A OLD CELLAR HOLE TO TEST IT OUT FRIDAY.THE SAFARI RUNS JUST AS GOOD AS THE SE JUST EASIER TO SET UP. I'VE USED A SE FOR 2 YEARS SO I KNOW HOW IT WORKS.THE SAFARI WENT AS DEEP AS MY SE DID.THE NEW COIL IS GREAT ON THE SAFARI.AT THE OLD CELLAR HOLE I DUG TARGETS FROM 3 INCHES DOWN TO 12 INCHES NO GREAT FINDES THAT DAY JUST BRASS AND COPPER JUNK. DID DIG A COPPER WASHER AT 8 INCHES LOOKED LIKE A LARGE CENT AT FIRST :veryangry: TRIED TO GET TO ANOTHER OLD SITE BUT IT STARED TO RIAN.THE SAFARI WORKED OUT GREAT.

It looks like a SE Pro "lite", where it doesn't have the bells and whistles (and sometimes headaches) as the SE Pro, but seems to have the same electronics package giving it the same sensitivity and depth. Looks like a great "significant other" machine, for someone you can talk into being your hunting partner that doesn't care about detectors, just detecting... HH Joe
