SAfari Hunt this Morning... Ya know why I like 150 yr old trees in the park....??

Because theres 150 yrs of crap underneath them, and guys just don't have the patience to weed thru all the noises the detector makes.... well I put a smaller coil on today, and headed right for that big fella...Moving at a snails pace ( litterally ) trying to squeeze out a high coil signal....Sure I dug a fair amount of junk.. hate to pass on a gold band, ya know... Pulled to wheaties ( 1919, 45. ) and 2 mercs too.. ( 1918-s and a 39 ).. I've been by and around this big fella a bunch of times before but today a stopped and stayed a spell..

Always remember the seated dime right on top that the roots pushed up but a good coin signal under a large root can be a problem..Parks groundskeeper catches you cutting a root and all may be banned from the park so like everything else plus and minus features for sure...Good post as over the years many have sat in the shade and they do produce if you have patience...
See one blown over by a bad storm with roots exposed is a plus so check it carefully...
