I talked to my dealer today and have a new one and a 8" coil on the way. Traded a near new "camo" detector for it. I have had Xterras in the past and the Xterra 70 with the 10.5 DD 7.5kHz was hard to beat for relic hunting. The only thing I'm a little intimiditated with is the FBS and different tones that the Safari has. I tried the 99 tones on the Xterra once and that was enough for me. I've been told to stick with the Safari and be patient and learn the tones. I was a musician at on time so maybe the different pitches will be easy. Anyways, I'm going over this forum from front to back, reading everything I can. I admit, I've had a few machines in the last 35 years since the BFO Bounty Hunter I that I started this hobby with and looking forward to trying this one out......MO
