Safari price?

Thinking about trying out a Safari. Whats a good used price? One just popped up on ebay, and seems to be "un-used" The seller says its only been out of the package to check its function. Thanks.
Also, what do the experienced folks here think the Safari has over the X Terra series? I've been using it a while and it has been good to me, just want to try out a "newer" Minelab.
Thanks

Safari is great detector I have not seen any for sale I go to pawn shops around Chicago have picked up 2 used etrac between 4 to 6 hundred dollars pawn shop dealers are buying them for 300.If it was like new I would go to 600.I resell them if I get cheap enough.I have been doing real good selling just the old coils of detectors that I or my wife find in garage sales.Have not any info about X-Terra I see several people out using them must be decent detector.

Your finding used E-tracs for 4-600.00? Where exactly are these pawn shops? I live in the Chicago area ,and I will buy all they got at that price!

Picked first one up off of route 59 West Chicago.2nd one at Algonquin pawn shop at Rt 62 or 68 split not sure what route.Bought f75 real cheap not to long ago.Have bid on Whites 3vi for 600 bucks like new with extra coil owner has til march 5 to payback loan.March 6 I will own it unless I am out bidded. March 8 it will be on Internet at 800 dollars starting bid.I buy lots of stuff out of pawn shops and estate sales in the winter mostly. The pawn shops are in phone books remember to bring cash.

Used Safari's go for for around $675-$750 here on this forum in the Classifieds.
I paid $665 for mine from Richard at Backwoods Detectors.
He is a sponsor and sells all the time in the Classifieds.
If I were looking for a specific detector, I would call him, let him know what I want and wait to see if he finds anything.

Thank's for the tip I will have to start checking them out. I'm just surprised that these guys don't instead list them on e-bay. They would get a much better price.
