safari sensitivity

broch

New member
hi guys i have been using my safari since january and most of the time it has been fine
Recently i have experienced problems on certain fields with falsing

I have my machine set at all metal with -10 to -6 discrimed out

some times its fine on auto sens.
Then on another field i have to lower the sensitivity down quiet a lot
The lowest i have had it down to is 12. Does that mean i will be missing things or is that still ok for it to work

i have a sef coil fitted. i try to clean the coil regularly and am sure the wires are tight enough

any tips or suggestions would be appreciated

thanks in advance

The one thing that can give my Safari fits is underground power lines, I often have to move on until it quiets down. If you are able to get away with a sens. of 12, other than losing some depth, you should be fine.
