Safari summer 2009 at hunted out park part 2

I wrote earlier that there are 2 areas in the park I concentrated my hunting. These photos in part 2 (with the exception of a couple of coins) were all found in the second area. This area produced a lot of finds and it still does produce. I have slowed down my pace to a crawl and changed to the 6" excel coil. Enjoy!
 
The 2 seated dimes are my first...same park, same area, same dates...sweet.
I never heard of the gambling game "Pull and Take" until found the spin top and did the research. I saw the same spin top for $65 on ebay.
1916, 1924 Buffalo and 1910, 1904 V nickles. I lost count on the wheaties.
 
The Captain Midnight decoder is pretty neat, I think it is from the early thirties. I don't about the token because of the wear on the one side. The button looks Japanese but not sure. Any ideas?

Those are some awesome finds. You definitely have a great site to detect. What state were these found in? I'm guessing East Coast because of the LCs you've found.

That's a great group of finds, especially from a couple of areas in a single park! It sounds like you are finding more targets by using a very slow sweep speed. Is that because masking other objects?

I live in western NY and these finds are from the oldest park in my area. I was very surprised to find the LCs because the park is not that old. I think it was a nursery in the late 1700s and left idle for many years later. I started the areas with a medium sweep and because of the finds I've gone to a slow sweep. I am now only using the 6" excel. coil. I went back today for an hour and sniffed out 2 wheaties and a IH between junk. I can only imagine what else is hidden. I am assuming if other hunters missed those big old LC at that site there must be smaller coins missed as well. I will finish my year at those sites...very slow. I have had my Safari since late May so I would love some tips on these sites from the more experienced Safari users.
Can anyone identify the button with the eagle?

John those are some great finds, you have a great place to hunt. Nice to swing an area that can produce such a wide variety of coins. If you've fund that much there's still quite a haul to be taken if you go very slow.
 
I'd say some of the Safari users should ask you for help instead! I hunt a "hunted out" park just a ways from my wife's doctor's office when I take her in for an appointment. I don't have much time but I have found a few goodies someone else missed. But believe me it is nowhere as good as you have been doing. Keep at it! Onus
