Good choice !
I own a Q, and was a bit confused in the beginning with the amount of signals and different sounds I received while searching as advised by the experienced owners, the ALL METAL setting.
I noticed, however, that the "relic" mode is much less chatty, and if you dig every repeatable signal in this mode, with sens at auto or MAX 14 at the beginning, you'll be amazed at what you will be finding.
The ring I posted earlier this week was found in the relic mode on the beach, sens auto.

Nice new rig! Getting the wife in to MD. Trying to steer her towards the Safari. She want a Garrett ace 250. I run a quattro and have had a great experience with Minelab, Safari would look good in the field and on my wall next to the Quattro. Money well spent on the Safari. Post some photos of your first digs....
