Well-known member
hello everyone i was wonder how my gti 2500 Will perform on salt water beaches? i live in maine and we have alot of them, i was wondering how it should perform and if there is any special coil or setting except the salt elimination mode i should use ?

From the land of the Bluenose.....can't help you on that particular model but the old Freedom 3 Plus hates wet sand. Good luck and best ofthe season to you me bouy!

By all accounts it works... sorta. It has a salt elimination mode, but it's best to not put too much stock in it.

There is one way to know for sure, of course - - try it!

I have used my 2500 on the salt beaches and have had no trouble. I like the dry sand better than the wet sand, but the salt elimination seems to work OK in both.

If it's a current one with the new mineral chip installed it should do okay. Salt after all is a mineral.
